Jeff Smith, UNC-TV Military & Veterans Affairs Coordinator, will present a preview of the new Ken Burns 10-part Vietnam War series and discuss how UNC-TV will facilitate continuing the conversation needed for our country to better understand the lasting effects of the war. The 18-hour documentary film series is directed by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick and will air beginning September 17 on UNC-TV. The documentary will tell the epic story of the Vietnam War as it has never-before been told on film.
